A Nepali citizen has been shot at in Indian land Jogbani, around 150 km south of Biratnagar.

An unidentified armed gang opened fire on 27-year-old Nirdosh Sangraula of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-8, Madhumara on Sunday evening, District Police Office, Morang said.

Sangraula who sustained injuries to his left thigh is undergoing treatment at Koshi Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ranjan Dahal.

“Who will  open fire on him and for what reason is yet to be revealed,” DSP Dahal told Nepalkhabar,” a gang of five to seven people is said to have opened fire on him.”

His condition is out of danger.
