video 1: Recently, in the Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, David Goodrich, son of American Humpback pilot Jack Goodrich, choked up several times in the "Hump Air Transport" exhibition area. In 1944, Jack Goodrich in his early 20s, came to China with a group of airmen from the United States to aid China. After completing 88 missions, Jack returned to the United States and told this unforgettable experience to his younger son David. More than 70 years later, 68-year-old David came to China for the first time, learned about his father’s story once again in the exhibition hall, and realized what achievements his father had in the supporting Chinese people against the Japanese invasion.
