CPN-UML leaders are going on a 13-day long visit to China. A team of 21 people, including General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, is going on a two-week long visit to China next Saturday evening.
Central member Rachna Khadka said that the high-level visiting team that is going to go on the invitation of the Chinese Communist Party's Foreign Affairs Department includes general secretary Pokharel, officials of public organizations, youth associations, and officials of Gifant.
According to her, Foreign Affairs Department Head Rajan Bhattarai, Publicity Department Head Rajendra Gautam, Politburo Member Jwalakumari Sah are in the visiting team.
National Youth Association President Kshitij Thewe, Aneraswawiyu President Sameek Badal, All Nepal Women's Association President Tuka Hamal are also included in the visiting team.
Similarly, central members are Gopal Khanal Manju Gurung, Kalpana Thapa, Manveer Rai, Neeraj Acharya, Ajay Gupta, Kapil Pokharel, Pitambar Bhusal, Sahdev Bogti, Ram Rana.
She said that Laxman Sharma, the general secretary of Geephant and Rajesh Rai, the vice president of Press Chautari, will also visit.
The team will meet with high-level leaders of the Chinese Communist Party in Beijing. Khadka informed that the team will return to Nepal on August 30 after visiting some historical cities in China.
Prime Minister Prachanda is visiting China on October 4. Before that, the leaders of UML are going to visit Beijing by the Chinese Communist Party.
