Twenty-six passengers sustained injuries in a bus accident that occurred near Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-9 Hugdikhola under Prithvi highway in Dhading on Saturday morning.
A bus, with the registration number plate Bagmati Province 03-001 Kha 2675, coming to Kathmandu from Tulsipur in Dang went out of control and overturned on the road this morning, leaving 26 passengers injured.
The police said that the accident happened around 5 am today.
Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Dhading, Santulal Prasad Jaiswar informed that five passengers who sustained in the accident have been sent to Kathmandu for further treatment.
The other injured are receiving treatment at Malekhu Highway Hospital and nearby health institutions.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Jaiswar, the injured Rajendra Pun, 24, of Salyan Sabeshwari-3, his son Ashish, 6, and Man Bahadur Khadka, 50, of Baghchaur Municipality-10, Salyan district, are in serious condition.
