Nineteen people have been injured in a passenger bus accident at Jugedi in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 near Dasdhunga along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section on Friday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, a passenger bus, Province 01-006 Kha 5237, coming to Kathmandu from Kankadbhitta met with an accident at 5:20 am today.

Among those injured, 10 passengers are undergoing treatment at Old Medical College, eight at Bharatpur Hospital while one has been sent to Kathmandu, said Chitwan police.

The bus fell some 10 meters down the road after it went out of control, said police. A total of 40 people were traveling in the bus.
