Hosts Nepal and India have entered the semi-finals with one match remaining in the ongoing CAVA Women's Volleyball Challenge Cup underway in Kathmandu. 

Nepal defeated Bangladesh 3-0 in straight sets in the match held at the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwar on Tuesday and booked their berth in the last four. 

In the match, Nepal beat Bangladesh in straight sets by 25-10, 25-8 and 25-9 to secure a place in the last four. Four young players who have been performing brilliantly in national tournaments have made their debut in the national volleyball team. Pragati Nath, Pooja Chaudhary, Kabita Bhatta and setter Shanti Kala Rai made their debut in the match against Bangladesh. 

India and Nepal have made it to the last four from Group A, with one game to go. 

India beat Kazakhstan 3-0 in straight sets in the first match of Group A today. 

After winning the first set 25-17, India easily won the second set 25-8 and then the final set 25-8. 

Nepal and India, who have won their second consecutive victory, reached the semi-finals with equal 6 points. Nepal and India and Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan will play tomorrow in the final match of the group stage.

In today's first match of Group B, Kazakhstan won a competitive 3-1 victory over Sri Lanka. Kazakhstan scored a decisive victory over Sri Lanka 25-16, 28-26, 25-18, 29-27. 

Kazakhstan easily won the first set 25-16. In the second set, Kazakhstan won a hard-fought 28-26 win over Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka made a comeback in the third set and won easily 25-18 over Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan won 29-27 in the fourth and final set.
