A22-member preliminary squad has been announced for the ICC World Cup qualifiers to be held in Zimbabwe.

The Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has announced the World Cup Qualifying team under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel on Monday.

Nepal qualified for the World Cup by finishing third in the match under the ICC World Cup League 2 Triangular Series at home in March. Nepal became the winner of the ACC Premier Cup held at home and qualified for the Asia Cup.

The Nepali team, which has been in high spirits, of late, will play against the Test nation in the World Cup qualifiers. Nepal will play World Cup Qualifiers to be held in Zimbabwe in coming June-July.

Prior to the qualifiers, the Nepali team will play a practice match in South Africa and will head to Zimbabwe from there.
